Pearl earned her undergraduate degree of A.B. English – Literature from the Ateneo de Davao University. She proceeded to take up law studies in the College of Law, Ateneo de Davao University and graduated in 1998. She took the Philippine Bar exams of the same year and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1999.
While still a law student, Atty. Vicencio volunteered as a legal intern of the Clinical Legal Education Program of the Ateneo de Davao University for one summer and one semester until she was compelled to assist in their family’s business. After becoming a lawyer, she joined the law firm as an Associate Lawyer.
Atty. Vicencio has been a member of the faculty of the College of Law, Ateneo de Davao University since 1999 teaching the subjects on legal ethics, legal profession and legal research. She is now on leave from her teaching assignments.
In July 2001, Atty. Vicencio was detailed by the firm to the Congressional Office of then Representative Emmylou Taliño-Mendoza, First District Cotabato) as her Chief Political Affairs Officer. This new assignment is not really new to Atty. Vicencio having served as consultant of Councilor Emmanuel P. Galicia, the Majority Floor Leader of the 12th Sangguniang Panlungsod of Davao City. In 2004, she has been accepted as a full partner of the firm which resulted in the formation of a new partnership and the corresponding change in the firm’s name. With her entrepreneurial ventures, she is also involved in various business development and management with consultancy engagements on her field of expertise.
Among others, Atty. Vicencio is a member of the Davao Lady Lawyers Association (DALLAS), Lakas Atenista (College of Law, Ateneo de Davao University).
